I wanted to portray a group of birds gathered together. I re-sized my images in Photo Shop to get the proportions for an 8x8. Then transferred my drawn images onto an acrylic and ink painted background with collage papers. I painted the birds with acrylics.Art and image copyrighted 2008 by Paula McNamee

Paula, your use of color brings a refreshing aura to the piece....your soothing blues and greens are like a spring shower. your gathering of birds, so realistic in form yet dreamlike in execution....well done.
